Linda Ann Crosby is gifted at transforming the daily God-moments from her life unto unforgettable, hilarious practical lessons people can relate to. She has a heart for God and a desire to encourage other mothers to laugh in the center of the chaos and noise that children create. She considers motherhood the most important calling on earth.
Linda began speaking in 1999 for women’s events, moms’ clubs, marriage encounters, weekend retreats and homeschool conventions. Her desire to be on stage began in kindergarten when she was the lead fairy princess in the class play. She has since traded in her tinfoil wand for a microphone as her audiences have grown.
As an author, Linda has written two solo projects, Laughing in the Midst of Mothering and Laughing in the Midst of Marriage. She has been a contributing author for homeschool unit studies with KONOS curriculum and has written historical biographies for Bramley Books.
At Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C., Canada, Linda received her B.A. in Education with a minor in art. She worked in public and private schools in Canada teaching special education, kindergarten and junior high, all three of which prepared her for marriage and parenting.
Linda and her husband, Rick, have been married since 1987. They are involved with youth ministries at their home church. Rick and Linda spent the first ten years of their marriage in B.C. and Alberta then moved to Phoenix, Arizona to be near Linda’s family.
The Crosbys have four children whom they homeschool, two of which have graduated. The four kids have four different learning styles, including a delayed reader and a child with auditory processing challenges and a language impairment. There is never a dull moment when you are a homeschool mama!
The Crosby home is filled with laughter, board games, Mexican food and God’s Word … not always in that order.
